Angel Interrupted My Sleep

hello there this happened to me about three years ago, the sheer brilliance of the whole episode has prompted me to share this story with other people. i can say it was my first and obvious experience with what i now believe to be my angel.

i live in a large estate and have a couple of friends i normally hang and sleep over with. on this particular night, my youngest brother and i were the only ones at home and i got really bored, and so decided to walk across to spend the night in my friends house, at least we could talk about politics or life issues which i always looked forward to. sometime during the night at about 3 or 4a.m, i got this gentle tapping on my side, and the urge to wake up! thinking it was my friend trying to be naughty, i ignored it and went back to sleep. seconds later, the tapping came again, a little stronger this time and an urge to go home. this was quite odd, by this time i was filled with such urgency to go home that i almost jumped over the balcony (we were on the second floor of a high rise). eventually, i was able to rouse my friend and i ran down the steps and the 4 mins to my house. as soon as i got into the house, what did i see? my younger brother had left food cooking in the kitchen and had gone to bed, the whole house was very hot and there was this stillness in the air. the cooker itself was red hot, the food and the cooking pot were charred. the air had a sucking and popping noise to it.........my house was about to explode! worse, at the time, there was only one exit from the house, and you had to get past the kitchen to reach it.in shock,i put off the cooker, opened all the windows and sliding doors, and soon the air slowly became cool again i then walked into my brother's room and found him sound asleep. i sat next to his sleeping form and tried to wake him but he was fast asleep. suddenly i looked out and saw this large greenish shooting star flash across the sky.

it all seemed surreal to me.. i knelt down and said a prayer of thanks. i may have lost my brother that night. thank you for reading my story.
