Ball of Light

When I was 14 years old,I became ill with a flu-like virus, and stayed home from school. I had been running a medium grade fever and was in bed, watching TV and napping.

I remember being wakened by a very low-pitched humming sound. It reminded me of the sound of high powered electrical lines. I felt the hair on my body become charged and stand on end and felt the air in the room change.

The humming became louder and was coming from the wall over my bedroom door, which led onto a back porch. I saw a basket-ball sized orb of light come through the wall above the door and very slowly move toward me.

The orb was not solid, but rather like moving sparks of light rotating within and I could see small sparks flying out of it.

It moved right up to my face and touched my head, and that's all I remember until I woke up, on the floor beside my bed, my whole body buzzing and tingling as though I had been shocked.

It was years until I told anyone about this. Everyone believes I was dreaming, but I DID feel the after effects.
