The Figure in My Bedroom

I am 12 now, but in the third grade, when I was about 8 or 9, I had an experince I would never forget. It was a cold winter night and I don't know what had woken me up, but I remember seeing some sort of short figure standing by my bed. I slapped myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I was so scared to move even though the figure just stood there and looked at me. When I finally regained my sanity, I got the nerve to turn on my lamp beside my bed but the figure had gone by then. My room had been cleaned, and this figure was short, looked a bit like Darth Vader, and wore a bright yellow shirt. He never returned to my room again.
