Grandma's Back

I've never actually seen a ghost, but I've felt as if someone is following me, or watching me. You know that not quite alone feeling. The house my mom and I live in is about 27 years old, and the couple that lived there before us had the wife's elderly grandmother living with them. She loved to sit in what is now my room and watch the traffic going by. She died a short time before the house was placed on the market and purchased by my mother.

Well strange but not very scary things have happened. We have two dogs, one sleeps in my mother's room and one sleeps with me. Well my uncle was staying the weekend with us and one night heard my mom's dog barking furiously (you could put fire crackers in my mom's nostrils, light them and she still wouldn't wake up), the next morning he asked "were you ok lastnight? I heard your door open and heard you go down the hall, but i didn't get up to check". My mom looked at him like he was crazy and told him she slept all night and hadn't gotten out of bed.

My mom has seen out of the corner of her someone corssing the hall way to my room when she's been home alone, and i have seen the same thing. it's almost like we imagined it, but we deep down know better than that.

then last night i had an experience similar to the one my uncle witnessed. I was woken up briefly to my mom's dog barking and my dog barking. I figured my dog was barking cause of the other one so i went back to sleep. I was woken up again by a feeling of being paralyzed and someone staring at me. I blew it off to my waking up from a weird dream. Then when I got out of bed this morning my bedroom door was standing wide open. I always make sure my door is closed before i go to sleep. and i went to bed way after my mom...

I feel like it's the former owner's grandmother just sticking around to keep us safe...I don't feel threatened by her at all...
