Guardian Angel?

I was an US Army military Policeman on the mid shift one night when I experiencied something that I haven't forgotten to this day. My partner and I were on routine walking patrol outside the base where we were stationied. When we heard this scream coming from a residentail area, largely populated by the japenese people. Running to the location which took us thru back alleys and streets we soon became seperated and I found myself alone. Coming upon a woman,I was able to partially understand that there was a GI with a knife and as she said "cut ta cut". As I approached the bldg she pointed out I suddenly stopped for an unknown reason. I do remember that I looked up into the sky, and remember that it was perfectly clear with all the stars shining. When I heard this voice out of no where say,"Don't go in there", and a very cold chilling wind blew across my shoulders.(This took place in the hot summer months}. After a few seconds i regained my composure after looking around to see if I could locate the source of this voice Thinking it might have been my partner. So i then stepped forward and looking into the only bldg that had a light on. I saw an american soldier with a knife slashing at five other NCO,S he had lined up against a wall. Now here,s the puzzle or Question i have asked myself and others over the years. After I had did my duty and subdued the soldier and placed him in custody. I got to thinking was this military disipline that kicked in at moment of crsis, or was this my "Guardian Angel" looking out for me? One thing I did leave out, this voice that I heard used my First name??. A true story. Think about it. Glenn Huffman
