Man and Women at the Top of the Stairs

Well this happened when my mom was a teenager. My Grandparents went out for diner soo my mom dicided to stay home and babysit my uncles.While they were sleeping my mom was sitting on the couch in the living room !The couch is in front the the stairs. See heard a noise and looked up at the top of the stairs and saw a man dressed in 17 hundreds clothing and a woman dressed in 17 hundreds clothing! They were just standing at the top of the stairs than slowly disapeared.My mom told my Grandparents and they no longer live there anymore.
