Strange Feeling

About two weeks after we had moved into our house some strange things began to happen. I was in my room playing a video game when I felt like I was being watched and whoever was watching me was above my bed. I shut off the game system and stood up and went over to my bookshelf then decided whatever I was looking for wasn't worth it so I left the room. I went to the kitchen and while I was washing my hands I could feel it watching me from my bedroom door. As I walked by I could sense it's following me like it couldn't leave my room.

Later that same night, my sister slept down in the family room because her room was usually too cold to sleep in. Although it wasn't that cold outside - it was colder in that room than it was outside, it was only early autumn. She shut off the TV around midnight and lay down to go to sleep about an hour later our dad came home from work. He leaned over to see who it was on the couch and then asked her what we had for dinner. He went to the kitchen, ate, and went downstairs to his room. Ten or fifteen minutes after he went to bed my sister thought she heard him come upstairs again and felt him standing behind her. She was going to turn to ask him what he wanted but changed her mind, then he went upstairs.

My sister thought it was strange that he would go upstairs because there was only her room, my other sisters room, and a storage room (which by the way we felt something creepy was in there). It sounded like he walked into the storage room then he turned around went back downstairs. When he got to the bottom he went through the family room, the dining room, and reached the kitchen then went back up the stairs again this time a little faster and went to the storage room again and back down. On the way down this time the steps were heavier and it sounded like whoever it was, was tapping the wall as he was walking down. By the third time he went up the stairs, my sister realized that it couldn't be our dad he tires quickly and doesn't go up and down stairs unless it is necessary.

When she discovered it wasn't our dad she remembered that when she thought he was standing behind there was no shadow like there was before. Also the dining room light did not come on when he went into to room - that room had a motion sensor light on. After that she tried hard to go to sleep as she heard whatever it was continue to go through the family room, dining room, and up and down the stairs. She doesn't know how long it took but she eventually feel asleep. The next day she asked our dad if he came back up stairs the previous night and he said he fell asleep right away. That is also strange because our dad usually doesn't go to sleep right away went he goes to bed he usually watches TV for a couple of hours. But while we were living there he always went to sleep immediately, now he's staying up late again.

We moved about three weeks after that - but not because of the ghost. Every time I drive by there I think I'll see a ghost watching from the windows. At our new house little things happen now and again, but we just think it's just the house settling.
