Story-type: A single encounter

I had just moved into a new house with my family, at first everything was fine but after a few nights I did not feel comfortable anymore. I would awake with extreme cold chills and the feeling I was not alone. I told my parents but the brushed it off and simply said, "You'll get used to it". I thought maybe they were right. The next night i awoke again to the sound of distant crys and a fading green light. I crawled out of my bed, not sure if i was dreaming or if i was really hearing and witnessing this. I walked down the hall and down the stairs to the second floor slowly, I could still here distant crying but the green light was gone. I followed the crys to the top of my basement stairs. I hesitated going down, but I was extremely curious, and scared at the same time. I desended the stairs and the crys became abnormaly loud, it seemed to be coming from the small room in the back of my basement. I reached the tiny room and peared in, in the back left corner i saw the faint green light, which had seemed to be coming from a 1930's style stroller, witht he huge wheels and old model shape. I walked closer and spotted a small child, crying hystaricaly. I was not sure if what i was seeing was real or a figment of my imagination. I got frightned after i realizded i had just encountered a ghost and ran back up to my room. I did not mention anything to my family, but sometimes at night i can steal hear the crys.
