Weird Sounds

In December one year while I was sleeping. I heard a loud crash of glass breaking which woke me up and the sound set off the security system and sounded the burgular alarm. I went to shut off the security system and I saw that it was one of the glass break detectors that tripped the burgular alarm and I thought that maybe a christmas orniment fell off the tree. so I search around the tree and I searched the entire house. I did not find any broken glass and I checked the windows and none of them were broken. I did not even find any other objects that were broken and I did not even find one piece of broken glass. It really scared the hound out of me and I could not figure out what caused the glass breaking sound.
