Me and my friend Debbie have always really been into ouija boards, pendulums and stuff like that... so one day we decided to go up in my step mums attic to earn some money for clearing it out. when we were 1/2 an hour or so into clearing it out i heard my friend debbie say "hey! come over here,... see what i found!!" it was a bit tatty but you could make out that it was a ouija board once. we called my step mum and she looked really shocked that it had been found and she explained that ever sinse she had met my dad she had stopped using it as she used to contact her husband through the ouija board who died in a car crash and she didn't think that it was fair on my dad if she continued to contact her husband. She told us to leave it there and to carry on if we wanted our money... but we were too curious so after we had finished the job we snuck it out of the attic when nobody was around. we took it down to the garden shed when no one ever went and cleared a space it use it. it was really dark and cold in the shed so we thought it would be ideal.

We nervously put our two fingers on the planchette and asked who we were talking to. Before we knew it the pointer zoomed around the board spelling out "where is Adele" (my step mum)....we found out that we had contacted her dead husband called Phil. we said that she had moved on and that she was with my dad now and that he couldn't speak to her any longer. He refused to belive that she had moved on and said that we would pay for lieing, we got freaked out by this and ran up the garden into the house and told Adele what had happened. Adele was furious that we had contacted her husband and came down to the garden shed. We sugested that the only way he would belive she had moved on and was re-married was if she told him herself. When Adele started talking to Phil he acted really friendly and happy. Phil wanted to know every thing about my dad i couldn't understand why he had suddenly changed his veiw about my dad. As soon as he found out where my dad worked the planchette stoped moving and the phone rang a minute later. My dads work had phoned to say that my dad had got badly hurt at work because a heavy metal cupboard had just collaspsed and landed on him when he was at his computer desk. He ended up with a broken back and still hasn't recoverd properly.

i still feel today that it was my fault for playing with the ouija board and i never have done since i think that Phil asked questions on my dad in a friendly manner because he was pretending he was interested when all he wanted to do was hurt him for the jelously he felt.
