Demon Encounter

I had recently divorced and moved 600 miles from my home into a large house with my three year old daughter. My daughter wasn't comfortable in the house and crawled into my large bed for comfort. We had just gone to sleep and then suddenly I was sitting up out of my body and a large dark shape was pulling me by my shoulders. I was overwhelmed by a sense of evil and then also fear as I realized that this entity was trying to pull me out of my body and take me. My next thought was of my daughter and as I turned to look at her I was overpowered with love and filled with light and then slammed back into my body. My whole body was tingling and I was unable to move for a moment and then I jumped up and turned on the light. The entity was gone and I never saw it afterwards, but I have always wondered at the meaning of this encounter. If anyone has any answers to this I would appreciate hearing from you.
