No One Believes Me
From: M Clark () Story type: Ghost Location: My bedroom Source: Form Submission
My house was built in the 1920's, and was, at one time, partly a doctors office. The doctor, Dr. Hill, lived here, and had two rooms that he used as his office. When I was very young, I started noticing that something in my house wasn't right. When I was laying in my bed sometimes at night, I would hear footsteps in my hallway, and sometimes I would hear something like a small dog running down the hall.
One night when I was really scared and was sleeping in my parents room with them, I got the courage to uncover my head, hehe, and when I did I saw this green light on the ceiling. It was almost a 3d image, like a glob. I quickly covered my head back up, and went to sleep.
As I grew older, I told my parents and family about the ghosts, but no one believed me, of course, parents always think that it's your over-active imagination. Some nights I would see a man and hear him walking down the hall, and I don't know why but I would and still expect to see a small child when I walked out of the bathroom. It was more like a mental image, and I never actually saw the child.
Now I am 16 years old, and I still see and hear my ghosts. Sometimes I'll wake up and see all these streaks of light flying around in my room. One night I had a dream about all these people standing outside my window looking up at me ( I live on the second floor). Another night I woke up and saw this face looking at me through my window. It was red, but it wasn't demonic. Every time I wake up, I am frightened to death, and I have nothing to be scared of. My ghosts have never harmed me, but they like to play tricks.
The funny
thing is, recently my mom stopped at a garage sell, and was talking to
a lady who previously lived here as a child. She told my mom some of
the same stories as I told her. She told my mom about a small child
ghost, and an elderly man with a breathing problem. So now my story is
believed by my mother at least.
