Old Key West

I can see spirits on a different level (or vibration) . However this
one specific spirit really surprised me on how interactive he was. I
was staying at a beautiful victorian house, bed & breakfast. A
beautiful late 1800's home in the heart of old Key West. My father was
getting remarried there, so we all had separate rooms. He stayed on the
2nd floor, I was at the top (3rd floor). Being alone in a old house
like this was kind of fun.
When I first entered my room I felt a presence. On a spiritual
level, I saw a older man seated on the sofa in the far right corner of
my room. He glanced at me and nodded, I immediately began chatting away
with him. I introduced myself and asked that he doesn't do anything too
wacky while I was visiting, I was having enough aches & pains from
travel. I usually build some type of rapport with a spirit, especially
since we would be roomies. He nodded and smiled occasionally. However
he seemed very preoccupied with the other tenants staying at the home.
But he was good company. I kept the space on the couch open for him to
sit. It was only polite. So I stored my luggage and other belongs on
the opposite side, acknowledging him.
Since my severe jet lag was overwhelming, I was up to the wee hours of
the east coast night. I chattered away with him about my son, and
missing the ocean in Florida since my move. He asked about Arizona
occasionally, but sometimes would leave abruptly to walk the halls.
Physically you could hear him walk, and even enter a room. The two
rooms across the hall were empty. It was hard to sleep with him
wandering in and out. So I had a difficult time sleeping.
The next day, I came back to the B & B and took a power nap. An
hour passes by and Im in a deep sleep, All of sudden I felt someone on
the bed shaking me and moving the bed side to side. I had my head
covered so I thought it was my father messing with me, then I
remembered in a flash i padlocked the door to my room. I shot up to see
no one there. I left shortly after, it surprised me.
Later that night I came home from partying and was feeling ill. I shed
my clothes, throwing them on the floor in a heap & headed to the
shower.
So I sat in the shower half awake and half asleep sick out of mind. In
came the older man, he looked at me and said " Turn the water on Cold.
You'll feel better that way."
I looked at him and thought, "why not?" So I did, and got sick. But I
felt much much better right away. I got out of the shower to find my
clothes neatly laying on the end of the couch, off of the floor where I
dropped them en route to the shower.I feel that he kept watch over me
since I was alone.
I asked the owner of the bed & breakfast about the old man, and who
he was. The owner smiled and said Oh that was either the house keeper
or Mr. Nobsby the old caretaker of this home. He took after it for
years until his death. He still does caretake"
I smiled, It made sense.
Before I left I thanked him for being a great roomie with me & i
hoped to see him again. He seemed to acknowlege me in appreciation of
being polite to him. I really enjoyed my visit to Key West, I am from
Florida originally. However the energy in Key West is amazing. You can
feel the spirits so much more than the typical.
