Presence in My Home?

The last couple of weeks have been very strange in my home. My husband and I own a house and his two brothers and his younger cousin live with us. They all work at night, and they sleep during the day, while I'm at work. About a week ago, my brother-in-law told me that when he was sleeping, he suddenly woke up and when he opened his eyes, he saw a man wearing a blue shirt, squatting at the end of his bed. He thought it was one of his other brothers and demanded from the man, "what the hell do you want?" The figure got up and walked backwards and faded into the dark wall. That's when he noticed it wasn't one of his brothers. He hasn't seen that man since that time.

His cousin had 2 experiences: The first one occurred a few days later, when he went to his bedroom, closed the door shut, turned the lights off and went to bed. The room was dark, but he could clearly see how someone or something was turning the doorknob, and suddenly, the door was pushed open. He felt a "heavy" feeling on his chest, like some deep sadness, and became very scared. He got up, walked towards the light switch on the wall and turned the light on. As soon as he turned on the lights, the "heavy" feeling of sadness disappeared.

The second experience occurred last weekend, when he was sleeping at night, and he felt someone climbing on top of him. He couldn't move, nor scream, and his arms were pinned on top of his head. The figure on top of him was heavy, and he was having difficulty breathing. He started to pray, and a few seconds later, the figure was gone. He was able to move his arms and to sit up on the bed, but there was no one in his room.

I think I know what's going on at my home: About two weeks ago, we visited my other brother-in-law's house. His in-laws are always telling us how that house has dead people; that the family that was living in the basement moved out because they were constantly hearing children laughing, or they saw dark shadows. When we visited their house, my brother-in-law, his cousin, and my husband were asked to go down to the basement to bring up some chairs. Ever since that night, the relatives that live with me have been telling me that they've been having these experiences.

I wasn't as worried as I am now, for my 10 month old son has been waking up a little after midnigt, almost every night. He wakes up wailing, screaming from the top of his lungs, like something or someone scared him. He won't calm down unless I make him go back to sleep while I have him cradled in my arms. Could my relatives accidentally brought a spirit with them, from that basement? Is there any way that we could get rid of it?
