Shadow Figure; Haunting; Single Encounter

Hi everyone. I just logged onto this sight hoping to gain some insight and comparison on what I woke up to last night. I do not recall the exact time on the clock when I awoke but I feel like it was early morning, 2:00 or 3:00 AM perhaps. However, I woke up, sat straight up in my bed, looked ahead and at that EXACT moment I saw a shadowy figure, fairly tall (I would say over 6 ft), in the form of a man, just walking/gliding calmy into my bathroom. I couldn't make out anything specific(face), but he was a dark, shadowy figure that had depth (wasn't transparent).

I know I wasn't asleep and/or dreaming. I was not scared at all, just bewildered for a brief moment, then I fell right back to sleep. I can't believe I remembered it this morning (and I can't believe I fell right back to sleep after my experience). My 4 story condo is only 2 years old so I found it odd to find this apparation in such a young house. But I suppose 'they' don't discriminate. :)

When I saw 'him', I didn't feel as 'he' would cause me harm, I actually got this feeling that 'he' was lost-perhaps he was just looking around and visiting - sort of like a relative would. After seeing this, I feel now that they are just as lost in our world as we are sometimes......At least, that is the feeling I got when I saw 'him'....And it also makes me think how many apparations we don't see when we are sleeping soundly at night.

I have always been a believer, but this was my first, true visual encounter...I am 26 years old...And I have always felt inside that I was receptive to these things and have a limited ability of physic power - or perhaps it is just a woman's intuition..waking up at the exact moment to catch something phenomenal.. ;) I would consider myself lucky...and a little freaked out.
