Solid Apparition

My story starts in the west of Scotland about thirty years ago. it happened luckily enough not to me but to my aunt who was just twelve at the time. It was the summer of seventy-four when my family was invited out for one evening to a friends house for her daughters twenty-first birthday. my aunt being a unruley teenager wanted to stay in the flat with her two friends both the same age.

Her parents had been gone for three hours and were due back any time soon, they were making something to eat in the kitchen when there was a loud knock at the front (and only) door. my aunt opened the door thinking it was her parents but before her stood a woman dressed in black with a little girl around the age of seven, before she had time to close the door over the woman and child dashed into the house and into the toilet and locked the door. My aunt tried to prize the door open and get the woman and child out but she couldn't.

Ten minutes later her family (my aunt's) returned and managed after a struggle to get the door open, as the door opened they expected the woman and child to come out but they didn't. my aunt's mum and dad looked inside and found a blask dress on the floor. I must stress there is no way out of this toilet as there is no window at all and no other possible way out. the whole flat was searched but no-one was found.

To this day my aunt and her two friends don't like talking about it and are still wary of opening there front door.
