Bad Angel
From: Danielle (kungfutsuru@yahoo.com) Story type: Ghost Location: dorm room, TN, USA Source: Form Submission
Ok, so in August of 2005 (about 3 months ago), I move into my dorm room to attend college. I don't know my roommate, but we get along rather well, I enjoy all of my classes, and I don't have to pull a lot of all-nighters ^_^. This new way of living in a tiny room is going well.
Until, about two weeks of living here, some random creepy, but insignificant things happen: the drawers in the closet open/close on their own, but not violently, just slowly, and the water turns on by itself in the sink sometimes.
Of course, this being a 200 year-old college, there are ghost stories surrounding it, and in my particular hall, supposedly there is a little boy ghost who does all this turning on the water and what not.
To make sense of this story, I must also mention that I have been taking martial arts for a while, and to say this generically, in the really advanced levels, we're talking about 10+ years of experience, there are sometimes tests that involve "spirits".
So, anyhow, about a month of dorm life goes by, and I'm having trouble sleeping at night. Almost everynight, between 2am and 4am, I wake up because in that breif moment of returning to consciousness from a deep sleep, it sounds like a horrid scream/screeching and static(A LOT of it) and I'm thinking the TV is on full volume on a blank channel...but, I turn over and see the Tv is off and everything goes silent.
So this happens for about three weeks, and one evening at martial arts, I'm rather tired, and it's really obvious to the teacher, and so I later tell the teacher in private what is keeping me awake at night.
He gets a very serious look on his face and
says, "get out of there." I explain that it's too much trouble because
the semester is so far along and housing has been tight this year
particularly at the college, and so I'm instructed to exorcise my room.
I read chapter 4 of Luke from the Bible, and left it open on that
chapter all night. All strange occurences have ceased (so far anyhow).
