Fire Dreamed

I had an experince when I was little. I was around 4 when I had a dream of my mom coming and waking me up and we went and helped fight a fire at a neighbor's house. I had always assumed it was a dream despite how vivid it was and the fact that I still remembered it 14 years later. One year after Thanksgiving dinner I asked my dad if we had ever fought a fire at that spot. He looked at me funny and asked me to tell me everything I could about the dream. so I gave him all the details, which were pretty extensive. He then told me that there had been a house there and it had burned down in a fire about 50 years before I was born. A little girl died in the fire too. I'm not sure if it is just a case of retro-cognition or if the girl just wanted to remind someone her age of what happened.
