A Ghostly Scream

One night my brother and I were walking back to our house and we heard a scream. At first we thought it was somebody (like our neighbors). But later that night we heard it again and we knew our neighbors went out of town earlier that day. My brother and I went to go see what it was and there in the trees was a black shadowy figure.

My brother just ran off, I stood there paralyzed by the scene.The shadowy figure came moving closer.....closer...closer... and finally it just vanished from sight. My dad came running to get me but the time he came he could not see me or hear me. I could only see him. It was like I was a ghost or hidden by an invisible cloak.

Later I came back into sight and we went to a medicine man. He told us that I was taken by what I had seen to another world where only ghosts have access to. I will never ever forget that horrifying moment.
