New House

My husband and I bought a house 2 years ago that was owned by an elderly couple; she died, he went to a nursing home and later died . A younger couple bought the house, but only had it a short time, as she had recovered from cancer (5 years) but it came back and she died in what is our bedroom.

This house has the most loving feeling in it...everyone feels very welcome here, but when we first moved in I felt the presence of the elderly man. I could tell he was very happy that we had bought the house and that we loved it as much as he did. He had a family room added on, and I could tell that that was his favorite room; it is ours too, and he liked that.

One day I was hanging a picture and I hit my thumb with the hammer and said a few words I shouldn't have said, and I could FEEL his disapproval! He didn't like swearing in his room! When my daughter is home from college, things fly off the shelves in the bathroom and the kitchen at her... I guess he doesn't like her!

Also, I have felt a presence standing outside the shower whenever I bathe; not so much as when we first moved in, but it used to happen every time...like someone was protecting my privacy. My other daughter and I have also felt other spirits...one was a spirit in distress, like it was in the wrong place or didn't know it was dead? another one in my daughter's bedroom that woke her kids up screaming, it was such a feeling of evil. It has never come back. I guess the loving ones get rid of the other ones? Also, the lights turn on and off and flicker, and will answer questions if you ask.
