On My Way to Work One Morning

Hi, my name is Sarah and I believe in Angels. I think that each human being on this earth has them from the moment that they breathe in their first breath of air at birth and until they expel their last breath in death.

This happened to me on the way to work one morning about 4 years ago. I am a creature of habit and take the same route to and from work each day. I know the streets that I take each day like the back of my hand. Anyway, this one morning, I went to make a left turn onto one of the streets that I take, at that very moment the light had turned yellow, which meant that the on coming traffic was supposed to stop so that I could make my left turn and get out of the intersection. I already had my wheels turned in that direction and had just put my foot on the gas to make the turn, the car was in motion...suddenly a loud voice shouted in my left ear "DON'T GO!"

It startled me and without thinking, I put my foot back on the brake super fast and stopped my car from making the turn. At that very instant this full size luxury car came barreling through the intersection at such a high rate of speed! All that I saw was a streak of silver color flashing by my care as I was looking out of my driver side window. That car had to be going about 60 mph! They had ran through the light, instead of stopping like they should have at the yellow light to allow me to turn. If I had made that left turn that day, I would not be writing this today...I would not be alive.

I truly know in my heart that each of us has angels that were assigned to us from the moment we were born, they guard us and protect us on a daily basis. They are there to comfort us when we are afraid or feeling discouraged from the many things that we have to face throughout our lives. We are never alone, we really aren't. So take that to heart and don't ever be afraid.
