I work at a call center in the Philippines.The center i work for employs some 1000 agents. Operations is often 24 x 7 to maximize the use of facilities. As an agent, we would be often assigned to the most ungodly hours. Sometimes, shift would start at 1 am or 12 midnight. On weekends, however, most agents would be on their rest days while us inbound agents would still be on shift waiting for calls to come in.

I'm on shift on weekends and would come in to work before 5am. It is still dark outside. This call center i work for only has around 20 agents doing inbound. Inbound agents who are on shift on mornings would be the only ones in the production floor area. Because of this, only the inbound area would have some light on. The rest of the production floor would be in darkness.

from my workstation, even by the window at the farthest end, i would see shadow people (term i learned from a co-worker. she'd use this to describe human spirits that are black from head to toe) from my peripheral vision coming from all directions. When i look at their direction, there is nobody but i know that i have seen a shadow person pass by. I learned from the same person that spirits like to dwell where there are many people because it recharges their energy. There are many spirits in places like the church, a mall, and offices because these are places where there are many people.
