Whispering Shadows

One night I fell asleep with the light on as I had been doing homework. During the night I woke up to find my light was still on and had a really dry thirsty taste in my mouth. I lay in bed debating whether to go down the stairs or not cuz I never liked going down in the middle of the nite. But I got up anyway and made my way into my landing and looked down the stairs to find that the kitchen lite was on and two shadows of human figures were reflected against the wall and they were whispering loudly and moving, so I thought it was my mum and dad so unscared I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen and was about to ask them what they were doing up this late only to discover that there was no one there.

I pressed up against the fridge feeling a bit uncomfortable then the kichen lights went out so I sank down and curled up and had a feeling something terrible was going to happen. Then the lights turned on and there appeared several human shaped shadows standing mid-air in twos and three's whispering and moving around. I didn't make out what they were saying but the didn't seem to be focused on me anyway they just seemed to be, how I would desciribe it, old friends meeting for the first time in ages. from my kichen I could see my front door and through the disorted glass I saw the disorted image of my best friend and her little sister so I slowly made my way out of the kichen over to the door.

As I wasopening it, I got the feeling that it wasn't my friend and when I opened it there was a huge black dog with glaring red eyes feircely growling at me preventing me from going outside so I closed the door and walked slowly back up the stairs climbed into bed lay down, then woke up and realised it was just a dream. But the most clearest and detailed dream I have ever had. Please email me with your opinions.
