Floating In Mid Air

When I was sixteen years old,I remember going to sleep one night and recall having a slight pain in my head.I thought I was tired and needed to sleep.I did go to into a deep sleep. And,in the middle of the night time,I woke up and was drowsy. I noticed I was out of my bed and was almost in the centre of my bedroom. I just thought,I must have been sleep walking. I was so drowsy and put my head down and was still thinking my pillow was under my head. But,I could not feel any softness or comfort from my pillow. I completly woke up and noticed that my hands were above the carpet. Only about one inch away and I looked to the left side of me,and noticed the rest of me was in mid air,too. I was floating and was just still. I got so scared and then I just froze! And,then I moved upwards and close to the ceiling.I moved over towards the end of my bed and still was wondering why I was floating. I did look down after a few seconds and saw myself for a few minutes. Suddenly,I started drifting away and went through my opened door and into the hallway. I was just beneath the hall light and looked towards the staircase. I just felt,like I could leave my parents house and go wherever I wanted. Then,I went back to sleep and woke up in my bed in the morning light. This was not a dream and I think,I was having a near death experience.
