Ghosts or Demons?

I, myself, have never encountered a demon but my boyfriend has. Either a demon or a really pissed ghost.

When he was younger living in his old house, he and his family could "feel" the hauntedness. It got a lot worse when him and his sister found old comic books and little girl clothes under the floorboards in the attic.

Shane, my boyfriend, wouldnt sleep upstairs cuz it would screw with him and scare him to death. When Shane was upstairs he could feel it coming down the hall towards him and he would start running toward the stairs. When he got halfway down the stairs it GRABBED him. He tried screaming but couldnt, couldnt move at all. Finally he fought it and it let go.

Another time his sister had a friend over and she went downstairs real quick. When she went back into her room her friend was sitting in the corner white as a ghost, freaked out. Also Shane's step-sister once woke up with her feet levetating in the air. She as well couldnt scream or move but finally broke free. I'm not sure that was a demon though. But i do know for sure that Shane has encountered a demon multiple times.

In the house he lives in now he used to have BAD nightmares. I mean, he's almost 20 years old and is having these dreams. In these dreams he could see himself laying in his bed sleeping and the demons would come and shake his bed violently. He can't talk and in order to get free, he has to fight it off somehow. In the dream he feels like he's awake and it's really happening. The thing is though, in his room there's a step and underneath that step they found little girl's clothes also. I think thats really weird..

Luckily those dreams he had haven't happened in the past couple months. But.. Back in his old house the rocking chair would move by itself and one time he peaked in through the crack in the door and saw it moving. There was a black cloud floating above the rocking chair and in the black cloud there were faces and images flashing by quickly. That's scary because im pretty sure that a black aura means dead. But its really scary because in his dreams and even in real life when he was younger it seems like demons have tried possessing him. What do u think?? I'd really like to know.
