One night I dreamt I woke up and heard a strange laugh. It was a sinister, evil laugh which sounded like that of an old man. In my dream, I tried to look for the person that was laughing, but when I turned around, that person always seemed to get behind me. I tried to see him several times, then looked outside and saw nothing, as in absolutely nothing, the darkness outside was pitch black. I got very scared (in my dream) and jumped in my bed, and woke up the very next moment, in the very same position I was when I landed in the bed. I looked around the room and saw that my digital clock was flashing 0:00 which meant that the electric power had been cut out and that it had just been turned on.
