I live in CHarletson, SC - a state that's well known for its ghosts! Well, I hadn't really seen many before, even though I knew I lived i a city that was rich with a history of ghosts... my friend one day told me about the "lights of Ravanel", where, down this dark road in Ravanel, there are unexplainable lights when one drives. I didn't really take him seriously... until I went with him.
We drove a long way out, to a highway that had trees all along it, and hardly any lampposts. Ravanel is basically countryland... we took a turn onto a small road into a neighborhood called "Parksferry." Michael started speeding down the road and suddenly there was this single red orb-lights right in the middle of the street ahead of us... not a car!! Michael exclaimed that it had come out extremely early, and he was very excited. However, I was scared as f*cking sh*t! Now, this road has only one lamppost taht is in the middle of the long road.. This was not a car nor a lamppost! It was this solomn red orb that kept coming near to our speeding car and then dashing away ahead of us... Completely unexplainable! Then suddenly, it disappeared! By that point, I was flipping out... I had never seen a Charleston spirit before and this was just too much for me... The road was completely dark and I was just scared sh*tless.
So after the red light disappeared... Mike turned the car around, and headed back down the road. Then the SECOND lights appeared and Mike got excited again! This time, they were three white lights piled on top of each other... made no f***ing sense whatsoever! They were NOT cars, or anything, just this weird lights that appeared right after the red, down the opposite direction of the road.... We chased after thsoe too, and again, we would seemt o catch up to those lights, but then they would zip off ahead of us... keeping shy of being caught. THen, they disappeared!!! I started crying... and begged to go back home. The lights had completely freaked me out!
