My Neighbor Saw a Ghost

One day in a old home that was owned by my family for 32 years. A building inspector showed up to inspect my home. I did not know why he was there or what the problem was. So I let him in and had him inspect the the house. As we approached the attic, he asked what was up there. I told him the usual things that one would keep there. Old furniture, boxes, old books, etc. I told him it was ok to enter the attic for inspection, but he declined. I then asked him why he was here to see the house or what he was looking for. He told me someone called in a compliant.

I later found out that my neighbor was in his attic working and looked out his window at my attic window. Claimed to having seen someone looking back at him. No evidence of anyone being in the attic that day or knowledge from me or tenants that anyone was there that day the neighbor saw this person. All doors where locked and no one could have entered the house. But he swears someone was looking at him though my attic window.
