A One Time Incident

I have always been interested in the paranormal, and believe in past lives. A few years ago, I found a book which came with a hypnosis cd on learning about your past lives and decided I'd give it a try. I was not too confident that I would remember anything as I usually have trouble meditating etc (I'm one of those people that falls asleep very easily!) Anyway, this is what I saw and felt on the very first time I tried the cd:

I saw myself in a small room - it looked like it was sometime in the 60's in either Hong Kong or China. I was wearing one of those tight Chinese dresses (not sure what they're called, but if anyone's seen the movie 'In the Mood for Love', it was like something out of that movie!) and I was sitting on this bed. There was a man standing near the window and although there was no dialogue, I knew that I was this man's mistress and totally in love with him. I knew also that this man was married, but loved me too. I knew that I was a prostitute who had met this man and he had then taken care of me. Then it suddenly changed 'scene' and the man was no longer there. I was in the same room, but it was obvious that I had aged quite a bit.. it looked like I was now somewhere in my 50's. I was again on my bed, but half sitting up against the wall. I was alone. I knew that the man had left me for reasons to do with responsibilities and I had no-one any longer.

The CD finished after that. I felt really really sad after this and in a way, it kind of helped me understand why I am the way I am in my life now regarding relationships. In contrast, I'm a bit of a clinger when it comes to the people I get into a relationship with, and I've always thought I wasn't good enough for any of my past boyfriends. I've heard that what you did in your past life effects you in your present life...if this was really my past life, then I can see the connection!
