A Repeated Nightmare

This experience happened when I was 3 or 4,and I can't quite explaine it but I'll try.Oh, and you might not think it's scary, but it was very confusing to a 4 year old.

It all started a long time ago when I was living in the U.K before I moved to U.S.A.. As far back as I can remember is the dream that still haunts me today.It starts out with my mother sitting on a chair and me sitting on her lap.Suddenly a man wearing a mask walks in.

The expression on my mother's face changes from calm to very afraid, and then she stands up and rests me on the chair. After that I notice he is holding my sister's baby doll, but he rests it on the counter of my kitchen. While my mother was yelling at him angrilly I tried to run away but do to my short legs I fell over by the fire place and after that I really could feel extreme heat.

From there I could still see the man somehow make my mother colapse to the floor, and then walk in my direction.I would try to scream as loud as I could but nothing came out.He started to reach for me and I would struggle, but I never got to know what happened because I would always wake up for some reason and I didn't know why the doll was in it but I do remember being really scared of it.Ever since I moved out of that house I never had a dream again.
