For anyone who is thinking of playing with a Ouija board, read this article and think twice before you do it. I was not a believer in such things until my dumbass decided to experiment with one about 5 years ago.
To satisfy my curiosity, I purchased a Ouija board at the local mall and brought it home to try it with my roomate who was also pretty excited about it. We read the instruction and did exactly what it said to do. After several attempts to contact spirits and after almost giving up on it, it finally started to act strange and move on its own. We asked it questions that only we could knew and it was answering correctly. I asked it question that only I knew the answer to,not even my roomate knew the answer to these questions and it answered them correctly.
At this point it seemed we were dealing with a female spirit, at least it told us so, who had lived in the area where we lived and had died just a few years prior in a car accident. The spirit also told us it had a daughter living in the same town but it would not give us more infromation. I found it very strange that I, who was not a believer in this, found myself still communicating with this spirit through a piece of cardboard and a piece of plastic 6 hours later and I was not scared at all.
But the real paranormal occured the day after. I got home from work and noticed the Ouija board was on the floor under the table where we had used it but nothing else was out of the ordinary. I took a shower and went to the kitchen and noticed that every kitchen cabinet door had been opened and left opened. This had happened while I was in the shower since I had wlked in the house through the kitchen when I got home and all was normal. What had just happened didn't scare me but it made me a little nervous. I called my roomate at his job and told him about it and I also mentioned to him that the Ouija board was on the floor. He freaked out and told me the reason the board was on the floor was because it had fallen on the floor on its own just as he was about to walk out the door on his way to work but he was too scared to turn around and pick it up since he said it made an unusually loud noise when it fell, as if something very heavy had fallen on the floor.
To make a long story short, I grabbed the Ouija board, tore it into pieces and tried to burn it in the fireplace, the strange thing is that it would not burn! I then grabbed all the pieces, put them in a trash bag, drove accross town and threw them in a dumpster behind a 7/11 store. Nothing else occured after that but I definitely learned my lesson. I never again touched a Ouija board. If you are curiuos and just feel that you have to try it, take my advice, don't do it at your own home, and please take it seriuosly, I have heard some real horror stories about this and my story doesn't even compare to them. Please keep in mind, This is not a joke!
