Warning to All Who Use Ouija Boards

This occurred early last year, when my best friend and I decided to try an Ouija board. Katie and I both practice Wicca and we thought it could be fun.

We were in my house, home alone. We had ourselves in the bedroom, Ouija board resting on the bed, sitting on opposite sides of the board. We started asking questions, and were told that we were talking to Carol Miller. We proceeded to ask many questions of Carol, like how she'd died, how old she was, etc. She gave us a very detailed history of herself, and I wrote it down, planning to check it later, see if I could find anything out about her.

After a while, we decided to try and prove it. We asked Carol to prove that she was there by turning on the television. We expected it to be the television in my room that was beside my bed. We'd long since discovered that that spirits liked to mess with that television. However, just after asking the question, we heard the television in the other room go on. Of course, we went out there to see if it was a family member that got home early, but we were still home alone and the controller was in plain sight on top of the television where I had left it.

After some checking, we discovered that according to the facts that we were given by Carol, there was no such person living where she claimed to be.

We put the Ouija board away for a while, rather frightened by whatever we were talking to. We'd used it previously and had spoken to a 'low-ranking demon' who called itself 'Discord'- we believe that that is the same demon we later talked to, calling itself Carol Miller.

The next time we used the board, it was with another friend, so the three of us went out into the park, setting up the 'game'. We burnt some Vesta powder (Supposed to protect the user from evil spirits and negativity). Then, we began to use the board. First, we asked if there was anyone there and then followed up with some questions. After about twenty minutes of using the board, we did something relatively stupid.

Our next question was to ask how many spirits were around use. The answer was somewhere around 300 thousand. This of course included all of the trees and vegetation. We proceeded to ask how many evil spirits there were around us, the answer was 3,365. Of course, that set off some alarm bells, but we figured that the vesta would protect us. The next question was a question that should NEVER be asked of an Ouija board. We asked if any of the spirits were intending to harm us. The same instant as the planchette hit the word 'yes', Katie and Eric both commented on the shadow that passed over the board. I didn't see it, because I was concentrating on the rustling in the woods. The night was completely still- no wind and it was around 11 PM, so there weren't any people out, just the three of us. Nothing should've been making that noise.

Before the entire word 'shadow' was out of my friends' mouths, the spot lights we'd been sitting near went out. There were four separate lights, hanging from different trees; they were creating the light that allowed for the shadow. The problem with the lights going out? The lights were set up to go on at dark and remain on until day light. The only way to switch them off was kept in the near by pool house, which was surrounded by a locked fence and had a locked door, where the light switches were in a locked cover. There is no-way anyone should have been able to turn them off!

Needless to say we got out of there as fast as we could, and whatever was out to hurt us followed. It was in the car as we went home! and after getting home, Eric informed us the next morning that he'd woken up outside (after noticing that the being had hung around his house, watching him from outside), but he'd gone to sleep inside, in his bedroom.
