White Woman

From:
Story type: Ghost
Location: My Bedroom
Source: Form Submission

It all started when I was about six. I would lay in my bed, and there is this window right beside my bed. I used to look out it when I couldn't sleep. One night, I looked out and there was a woman dressed in white standing there, not looking at me, but her eyes were downcast, as if she was sad. At first she scared me. But then, I began to get used to her. She never looked up, she never spoke. She just stood there looking down. One night, I decided that since she stood outside my bedroom window every night, that maybe she wanted to talk to me, but was too shy. I knocked on the window. She didn't move. I slowly opened the window and said, "Hello? Who are you? Do you need help?" She just stood there. I was getting impatiant now. I removed the screen and hopped out of my window. I walked up to her, and she screamed. It was this eerie, ghasly scream that made my skin crawl. I ran and hurlted back into my window. I swear to this day that she followed me until I shut the window. I don't see her anymore, I guess I scared her right into the afterlife!
