Angels Felt Like Pillows

When I was in the eighth grade, someone I knew was abusive and had a violent temper. One night, I did something (very mild..."Teenagery") to anger this person. He began hitting me and slapping me hard all around. As this physical attack took place, I realized that I was not feeling a single blow, and I was not falling down either. At the same time, I was emotionally peaceful The force he used would have truly knocked me to the ground. It felt like I was surrounded by big soft pillows that were fully protecting me from any physical sensations of this attack! I rememberd thinking to myself, "How can this be happening, but I don't feel it?" When the person left, I sat there in disbelief, but true gratitude! I Thank God for sending His angels to me that night. There is no other explanation for it!
