I'm from abilene tx and when i heard about the anson lights and the fact that it was a ghost story i wanted to be apart of it as fast as possible. i just dont know what it is but i love the paranormal and ghosts and the fact that this story is the truth about the anson lights and i witnessed the occurence today october,17 2007. it was about 12 midnight and me and a few friends were sitting in my car near the crossroads by the cemetery. not exactly on the cross-roads, we were actually parked a little further north toward the grave yard than usual. me and my friends were talking and every once in a while i would flash my lights once, because we thought we might try something diffrent than what people tell were supposed to do. well we flash them once or twice and sit there for a bit and the lights came. the first time normal and then it happend the dimmed out for a second and then came back even brighter than before the first time and we knew something was different. so we do it again and once again did the same thing so we thought, wow thats different so we just sit there for a bit. it was about 12:30 maybe 40 after and i was watching a video on my phone and my friend said "Dude look up. whats that!" and we all looked and what we saw immediately gave me the chills. we saw the woman figure underneath the street pole with the lantern in her hand and a small red light in the lantern that was changing colors. and at that moment my stomach had dropped. i didnt know what to do so i put it in reverse, came to the crossroads and she was still coming. and truth fully i swear i seen her face and she didnt look to happy but i had the chills and i was shaking like i was cold. it was unbelievable experience for me cause every story i hear of it besides one the guy in it says he saw the light and it came as close as 20 feet away from his car and he got out and looked at it and all it was was just a light he did an EMF reading adn came up witha 2.3-2.7 and that was a base reading. at an earlier time so he didnt think anything of it. but truthfully i feel that the anson lights ghost story is real and you should be careful when you check it out and make sure your with alot of people if you go.
