Car Crash Flight

When i was about ten, I was in a car crash in Sheffield in England. A lady, believing that a bus driver had signalled her to pass, jumped a red light and hit our car side on. Our Car rolled and ended up on its side. Before the impact, i remember my father pushing my head down below the dash.

I cannot remember the impact, noise or even leaving my body but i can quite clearly, even now, see myself strapped into the seat, rotating slowly as if in slow motion. I felt completely calm and slightly bemused as i watched smarties spilling out of a packet clutched in my hand. I remember no sensual reception at all. The funny thing was that i saw myself upright and not crouched over as my father had pushed me.

After what seemed like about 10 seconds, suddenly i was back "inside " myself and i took a little while to take in where i was and what had happened. I clearly dont remember a shift from one existence to another and if it even happened at all.

Later on i had several motorcycle accidents and spills one of which i blacked out in an ariel spin.. Nothing like it has ever happened again.
