Driven Insane by Annamae

Well, im a teenager, and this just happend to me last week.

The day was perfectly fine. But it was the night that troubled me. My older sister, Kayliegh, was checking the house locks and stuff (My parents were sleeping, because they had just come back from a party). At that time, when she went out of the door, me and my identical twin (Kyla) were trying to sleep. Then, a figure entered the door. We thought it was Kayleigh, so we didn't really worry then... but when we saw that the figure went out again and my sister just entered.. we started to get scared

When my sister entered, Kyla and I started asking her. We asked her if she was the person who entered a while ago. She said NO. Me and Kyla thought that it was just a trick of the light.

After a while I started feeling uncomfortable... I wanted to jump off my bunk (I sleep on the top bunk of our bunkbed). I climbed down and walked around the room, thinking that I was just restless. But the feeling just WOULD NOT go.

Kyla was watching me. I realized this long after I had started walking. It was around 3:00 am. Kyla eventually went to sleep. I stayed awake until my alarm went off. We went to boarding school, and our parents requested the school people for holidays for us. I didn't know what to do. Kyla and Kayleigh woke up at the sound of the alarm. I felt better when I saw them. Me and Kyla went out to take our dog, Autumn for a walk. I told Kyla all about what had happend.

Kyla, like all others I told this story to said "Li, You just didn't get enough sleep!'. I don't know what happend to me, I just started shouting. I remember myself saying 'Kyl, YOU DON'T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO YOU'.

Every night I feel the same thing. My sisters are starting to believe the same things. Every night, my dog would whine from 2:00 to 6:00. My sister, Kayliegh, had always been the odd kind of girl. She would never join in jokes, she would never even TOUCH a pant or skirt above the ankles. She was always the 'sixth sense' type of girl. She said that she started to feel a presence in the house.

She said that she felt the presence around me in the morning which me and Kyla had a fight.

Two days later, she started saying things like 'the spirit told me that Li saved Kyl'. (Everyone used to call me Li and Kyla, Kyl).

On the third day, she got really insane. When Kyla used to call me from the kitchen or something, she would always say 'LI!', as I would always call her 'KYL!'. Whenever we used to say this, she used to say 'Who's Li? Who's Kyl?'. Even when we called her (we called her Kay), she refused to recognize herself. She calmed herself to be someone called 'Annamae'. My parents also got annoyed.

Right now, Kayliegh is in the insane asylum. We believe a spirit got inside her soul. We know the spirit is still there, because she still claims herself as 'Annamae'.

The doctors of the asylum refuse to believe me and Kyla that a spirit is inside her. Even if the spirit does leave her soul, it has driven her completely insane.

We still live in the same house. I still feel the same thing. Now I feel as if someone is tying a rope around my ankles. Kyla feels like someone is sucking the breath out of her. I believe her, because I can hear her struggling for breath in the bunk below.
