First Experience with Astral Projection?

One night a few years ago, I went to sleep after work and found myself floating out and ended up in the hallway of a school, which I believed to be a college or high school. I'm not sure how I got there in the first place, but it was deserted and the lights were on. I remember (walking?) through a particular hallway until I reached a 4-way...to my left was a door with a window to the outside, in front of me a hallway filled with lockers, and to my right was an empty hallway.

I continued moving forward and after a few moments, I heard a loud banging coming from behind me, presumably from the door I had just past. I turned around and headed for the door and looked through the window, but couldn't see anything or anybody, so I left and continued on my way.

Again, something or somebody banged on the door, this time much louder and more forceful, and again I went to this door only to find it was being hit so hard that I could feel the vibration of the hits and I could of sworn it was going to come off its hinges. I took one step closer to it and the next thing I knew the door had exploded into tiny fragments and immediately a powerful gust of wind blew in and knocked me backwards and I continued falling...through the floor and finally onto my bed with so much force that I instantly woke up with my head snapping back somewhat and the whole bed shook, as though I had fallen onto it from the ceiling.

There is no way this could have been a dream.
