Here is a story that my family still talks about ABOUT till this day. I hope that you enjoy it.
My dad was a coon hunter. That was one of his favorite hobbies that he enjoyed doing even as a child. His brother and a few of his friends would get together and go coon hunting every Saturday night. they would not return home until the wee hors of the morning.
One one particular night my sister Ellen came to visit, bringing her two boys , Albert and Ronnie. My brother John, my retarded sister Cathy and myself were all sitting in the living room. We all decided to watch a movie. My mother had popped us some popcorn . She came out of the kitchen locking the door with a chain lock. She always did this to keep Cathy out of the kitchen. She did not want her to get into something that could hurt her. We were all very protective of Cathy because of her mental state. She had the mind of three year old.
Ellen and mom were talking while the rest of us watched TV.
The kitchen door was opened as far as it would go because of the chain lock. The light from the kitchen shinned through the three inch crack. The living room lights were all off, except the light from the TV.
everything was fine until we all heard a load kaboom . The kitchen door shook , it was as if someone had kicked it as hard as they could. That is not all. , at the bottom of the door sticking through was a old looking green boot. something like men would wear farming or while in war. This thing was sticking it's foot through the crack in the door. We all screamed. We had all thought that some one had broken into our house. As soon as it stuck it's foot through the door it also pulled it out and was gone. My mom got my dad's gun and went into the kitchen with all of us right behind her. Nothing was out of place and the strange thing was that the door from the kitchen that led to the back porch was still locked from the inside. No one could have come in through that way and no one could have left without coming through the living room where we were at. we all sat up until dad came home. Of course he did not believe us. He said that it was our imagination. we all had seen and heard it. We only saw the boot not the rest of it's body. It looked as real as you or I. Like I said before, we all still talk about it till this day
