Hanging Girl

When I was 11 my family moved house from the city to the countryside. The first night I was in my room I couldn't sleep so I walked around the house to get more comfortable. When I walked back to my room to go to sleep, the light was off but I had left it on. I thought there might have been a powercut but the light turned back on when I flicked the switch. I didn't take any notice so I went to sleep.

At 3:28am I woke up again for no reason, but my room was very very cold. I got up and went to my wardrobe to get a jumper to sleep in. When I opened the wardrobe, I saw a little girl in a black dress hanging from her neck on the door with blood streaming from her mouth and eyes. I tried to scream but I could only whisper and could not move. The little girl's eyes looked straight at me, grinned with broken front teeth, then she faded away. I fainted.

The next morning I told my Mom and Dad what I had seen and they googled the house and time that I woke up. A little girl who had lived in that house years ago had hung herself at approx. 3:30am after her father beating her. he had broken her front teeth and attacked her face with a knife.

We moved as fast as possible.
