Maybe It Was the Tea?

This particular experience I have had several times thoughout my life for as long as I can remember, but it was only until after I turned 20 years old that I expereinced it for "real". 6 months prior to this event I had just found and become a member of a yoga studio that employed me as an assistant and teacher. This studio had several rooms used for meditation, healing, cooking, and yoga. In the main yoga hall I would meditate daily to prepare myself for teaching class.
One afternoon I decided I needed to get my center before I had to teach class that night; so I began to meditate. Before I began I turned off the inside lights and lit some incense. I sat at the front of the main altar in prayer posture and tried my best to focus. I am not sure how long it took for me to "tune in" to what was happening but I do remember the first thing I did was feel both of my upper arms burning badly (similar to doing several hundred push-ups).
Sometime after that I was someplace completely different and I was some other person. I was dangling from a tall tree and my forehead was sweating terribly. Shortly thereafter I let go. After this happened I opened my eyes and found my self standing infront of the mirrored wall of the studio it starteled me because I knew I had began in another area of the room. Then out of the corner of my eye the master of my studio (my boss) was standing in the door way and shouted at me, because he said I was not focusing. So I went back to the main altar, lit a few new sticks of incense, and began to meditate again.
The next thing can I remember is that I was this girl again only I was alittle older (maybe 11 or 12) and I was standing outside of a temple in the rain watching 3 male members of my family talking to each other when my sister grabbed me from behind and told me to run with her because there was something she wanted me to see. As I ran behind her I slipped and fell because my feet were wrapped so tightly I lost balance quickly. When I lifted my face off of the ground I looked into the puddle I was laying in and saw a reflecton of my own face. Then I screamed as the blood from my nose dripped into the water.
After this I opened my eyes yet again, and I was in the same position on the floor in another area of the room. My master had left the center to run an errand so I decided to try one more time. I repeated the same ritual as I always do. When the third vision came I was that girl again, but I was older (maybe 16). I was giving birth. I have never had a child in this lifetime but I could feel the pain everywhere in my body and it would not go away. After giving birth my husband who I think was in his 20's said something to me that made me cry (it was a good feeling not a bad one). That was the last experience I had like that since.
One year later I had a session with a psychic woman who told me I was a woman from Beijing named Shen Jai-Rou who lived from C.A. 1730-1775 C.E. After she gave me the name I knew it right away, and I could hear my fathers voice addressing me. It still gives me chills.
