I've had epilepsy all of my life. One thing you can not do with epilepsy is to go swimming unattended, in fear of a seizure occuring - in fear of drowning.

A few years back my husband and I were having problems with our plumbing in our upstairs bathroom. The tub would fill up with water as you were showering and would not drain until you turned off the water. We were told that we had to wait almost two weeks for a plumber to come out and fix the situation. Almost a week and a half later I had a pretty bad seizure while taking a shower. I woke up while the shower was still running, and I was lying face down, mouth wide open. It took a little while until I finally realized what had happened.

A bit later after I got myself out of the shower I phoned my husband and let him know what had happened. One of the first things that had come over me when I finally stepped out of the tub was "thank god the drain was fixed or I would have drowned". I had told my husband that he had fixed the drain just on time. I said you never know what could have happened. He didn't know what I was talking about. He said when he took his shower that morning it was still clogging up on him the whole time just as it had been for the past two weeks. I had immediately gotten chills thru my whole body and started to cry. I knew I had just received a miracle.

After that had occured, I was alittle nervous taking showers if I were home alone. But then, something else occured not too long after. I was in the shower, and started to feel another seizure come on. I automatically started to pray and looked up above. Above me, where our paint had been chipping from condensation, was an image of jesus' face. I immediately had a feeling of peace.

I had shown this image on my wall to a few close family members and friends. I eventually had to have my bathroom painted, covering up the image, but I still know what was under there, and it will always be there watching over me. To this day, I have not had another seizure while being in the shower, nor am I afraid. I know I am being watched over.
