Mysterious Candle Lighting

This morning I was getting dressed for work, upstairs. I was running late but my cats were starving so I took what I had and ran down stairs. It was a typical monday morning, all the lights were off down stairs, windows shut, doors locked. I placed my purse on the dining room table next to my center piece candel that was, of course, unlit. I went into the kitchen, turned the light on and fed the cats. I put their food away, turned the kitchen light off and went back upstairs to gather the rest of my things and head out the door before I was late for work. I was upstairs for maybe a minute or two....came back downstairs.....stopped in my tracks halfway down my stairs and saw a glowing light coming fromt he dining room where my purse was....i slowly went down the remaining steps to find the center peice candle was lit and the lighter resting next to it on the table. I dont know if the lighter was there to begin with because it was dark when i set my purse there. So, thats my story....ive been freaked out all day. Needless to say im not going home alone tonight!
