One Last Message from Dead Sister

A police officer told me this story personally. I know some of the El Pasoans know of this, but I'll post it for those who don't. He was called to the scene of a horrible car accident, in which two cars had a front end collision and one had rolled off the road. (note to anyone reading this: please wear your seatbelt, especially children) The car which had rolled off the road had had two occupants, a brother and his younger sister. She had been thrown from the car and lay in a bloodied heap. The boy, who had been driving, had bashed his head on the window and was bleeding heavily, but was still in the car.
The police officer, the first person on the scene, approached the girl first. She was laying on her back and her limbs seemed twisted. He bent to attend to her, and was horrified by her mangled appearance. However, as soon as he neared her, she coherently spoke to him. She told him she was not badly hurt, she felt fine, and to please attend to her brother first. The police officer was finally convinced by her persuasions and saw to the boy. At this time the ambulance arrived and the paramedics took over. They looked the girl over and left her, so the officer assumed they had found her well, and they pulled the boy from the car and placed him on a stretcher and began to efficiently see to him.
They asked the officer what had transpired in the few minutes he had been there alone, and he told them. At this time, the paramedic's eyes widened. He asked the officer to come over to the girl again, and he complied. She was laying as he left her, but very still and quiet now, and the paramedic crouched over her and gingerly turned her head to the side. The whole back of her head had been crushed in when she was thrown from the car. There was no way she could have spoken to him, the officer was told. The girl had been killed instantly with a head injury so horrid.
