OOBE and Creature?

This happened six years ago. My son was about a month old, and he was sleeping in a swing in another room. I was alone in my room lying down. I don't remember how long I had been in there, but I remember feeling like I was being "pulled" out of my body. It was like a shearing force was being exerted on every cell in my body, separating my soul from my physical body.

Soon I was a foot or two above my bed, and while I was "out", I saw things differently. It was like I was seeing a dimension that I hadn't been able to perceive before. Still my room, but not the same. Then I noticed "it".

I only saw it out of the corner of my eye, so I don't feel I can give a totally accurate description of it. Not human, not like any animal I had ever seen. Definitely some sort of being or creature, though. Larger than a dog, smaller than a cow. Maybe like a cross between a pig and a bull-dog. The word "goblin" comes to mind when I think of it. It was terrifying. Then, next thing I knew I was "dropped" back into my body.

The whole thing couldn't have lasted more than 30 seconds. I ran to check on my son, then prayed for a few minutes. I told my husband and he dismissed it as a hallucination. I don't talk about it to anyone. I'd never experienced anything like it before and never want to again. I'll never again doubt the fact that the soul is separate from the body, and I now keep an open mind when I hear stories about the paranormal.
