In 2003 My grandfather was in the hospital dying of lung cancer, it had been a horrible few months, but the strangest thing happened about 2 days before he passed away. My entire family was in the hospital room with him, we were carrying on a normal conversation, all of a sudden he said "why are the lights so bright?" There were no lights even on in the room as it was mid-day, then he continued to marvel at the fact that "the tunnel had no washrooms". he was absolutely shocked that there were no washrooms in this tunnel he was seeing. He said he would go halfway down the tunnel, realize there were no washrooms and come back. He kept talking to people who were not in the room, however he was completely lucid! This really gave me some hope that there truly IS an afterlife.
