Quick Glimpse into the Past

I cannot be sure that what I envisioned was a past life, or if it was an hallucination. I will admit that I was on a "break" from drugs at that point. I hadn't done anything in weeks, but you never know...

Now, this was a few years ago when I was in school, in school suspension really. I was reading a book and day-dreaming or whatever. I wasn't an awful kid, just couldn't always find my way to class, so I was perfectly content to read a book in in-school all day. I grew restless and began looking around- that's when I saw my friend Jason walk past the door. I guess you could say that I had a bit of a crush on him for only about five years, but then I had this flash:

I was on the bank of a river, was a man, a castle or fort's shadow fell over us. I was dying. And Jason looked into my face, he was trying to save me, but it was also he that had killed me. But I could tell he felt bad and all he wanted suddenly was to save me, his mortal enemy.

And that was it. I hadn't fallen asleep; it was not a dream, kind of a trance though.
