A friend told me about her experience. It is mostly about a Korean myth.

When she was asleep some sort of pressure felt as if someone was grabbing her ankles. It would slowly make it's way up her body until it finally got to her head, and she was unable to move. She tried to scream, but couldn't move her mouth like it was jammed shut. Once in that state the spirit tries to torture you so for seconds at a time, you'd have difficulty breathing or couldn't breath at all. This has happened to other people as well and they've all experienced the same thing.

She has also told me about her friend, when she sleeps she'd awake to find a little boy by her bed. The first few times she'd freak out, but later she got used to it and started having conversations with the boy. This occurence happens occasionally, not every night.
