It was past 1 am in the morning and I was hanging out with my friend. It was a movie night and we had just finished watching "The Ring." My story is about this ghost who lives in my living room. We were eating popcorn, then the pizza man came over and I asked my friend to get it for me. While my friend was away the TV kept turning off. I thought that maybe there was a sudden storm coming our way. so I kept turning the TV back on. My friend came back with the pizzas and we started to enjoy the movie again. suddenly the power cut off...and the TV came on. weird! I thought. We looked for my flashlight so we could turn the power on. but we couldn't find it anywhere. I could have sworn it was under my sink in the kitchen. we decided to go back in the living room, but this time the TV was off. 2hrs later we went to bed. I woke up to a noise downstairs. I went downstairs to see what happened. I heard a bunch of kids laughing, but in the background of the laughter I heard a little girl crying. I could hear it coming from the living room...but no one was in the living room....it was coming from the tv. but the Tv wasn't on. I turned it on and I saw her staring back at me. She looked at me and told me "why mommy?" and then the TV went blank. The power came back on after that. and I never saw the little girl again. I kept thinking about it after that had happened. I wondered "why did she call me mommy? In the past, did her mom do something to her before I moved in this house?" I guess I'll never know. but sometimes I can still hear her crying.
