Unexplained Occurances

This may not be as big of a deal as I have been making it out to be but I would like to share my story..... for the past year or so I have been experiencing "unatural" occurances in my room at the same time every night (2:30am) once a month (occurs on differnt days). My mom has been collecting minature carousels every year for Christmas since my birth 17 years ago. Continuing on with the story, 17 carousels are on a shelf over my closet and randomly my carousels make noise. Carousels only make noise if they are wound up. I nor my parents can even reach the carousels. My father has to get on a ladder to put them up on the shelf. So why are they making noise?

Every time this occurs I run out of my room wake up my parents to tell them its happening. When they come in my room the carousels stop making noise then as soon as they leave they start back up again. I know that carousel winding themselves up by no means is normal. what makes the story even scarier is that my brother has been complaining of seeing a big figure in his room at night. The big figure is not my parents because they are both small people. I have heard on several occasions that kids are more likely to see ghosts than adults because their minds are innocent are they are more likely to believe ghosts are real. Could this be a ghost that my brother sees and that has been winding up my carosuel?
